A Boy & A Girl

Seeing you everyday, there's nothing much I could do.
Besides looking at you from the back, I just wished that you could just look back at me.
Cos' when you do, I felt like the time has stopped and my heart just skipped a beat.
The feeling of having your heart skipped a beat is very painful... yet it's addictive.
There were times when you actually saw me and a smile from you or even simply waving your hand to say hello made my day. And when that happened, it felt as if it was star struck and I can no longer focus on anything but kept recalling the moment that has just happened.
As time went by, I started to get more from you...
From simply a smile, to a 'hello' and now, a short conversation - each time one sentence.
And somehow, I also started to count the number of sentences you've said to me.
One sentence last week. Another sentence yesterday. And another more today.
Day by day, I hope that one day, we would have a complete conversation - just the two of us.
A boy and a girl ...

New Stuff for New Year ^^

I know it's been quite a long time since I last blogged. It's not like I've got nothing to blog, i do, but the problem is the time.

So, anyways, here I bought some new stuff for this new year. Thought I could use some new things to go with my new clothes!

New earrings ^^

My mum bought me this necklace yesterday ~ ^^

And I bought this bag! I wanted to buy the one with the leopard prints on but my mum said it didnt suit me cuz it seemed so mature. And then when I passed by "the Brands shop" after buying this, I saw another design also with leopard prints on but it was so much younger-looking and my mum also said the same thing! But unfortunately, it was too late!

And then yesterday, I saw another bag!! It was so pretty and for one second, I regretted AGAIN! I wanted to buy it but I cant keep buying so many bags ~ ~ *my love for bags <333 ... dies* Anyways, I told my mum, I'm getting that bag after new year!!

I actually wanted to show you more on what I've bought but I think I'll show you the next time I'm on blogger again! Oh yes, and my shoes! I bought wedges! My first heels after so many years!! Lol ~ ^^

TVXQ's 8th Anniversary !!!

(I copied this picture from my friend's facebook)

8 years together as 东方神起 isn't a simple thing that you and I can achieve after all. 8 years is not a very long year nor it is a short one. But this 8 years show not only fame. It shows their ever longing friendship as well.

Even though many changes had taken place within these 8 years, even though they are currently not being together, I'm sure in the end, they share the same feeling today.

Each and everyone of the members in TVXQ has a different story to tell when they first met but they now share the same story in the end. Nobody can replace TVXQ in our heart and nobody is TVXQ besides U-Know Yunho, Hero Jae-Joong, Xiah Junsu, Micky Yoochun and Max Changmin.

2011 MHS Masquerade Night !!

2011 MHS Masquerade Night. The first prom I've ever been to in the past 18 years and it might also turn out to be the last one. Nevertheless, IT WAS SERIOUSLY AN AWESOME NIGHT!

People say, the best thing about prom is you get to talk about what to wear, what shoes, what dress with your friends before the big day comes. I bet most of the people did that, except for me. I only asked my mum! Lol...Anyhow, when I was worrying about what to wear to prom (since I didn't even have one single dress in my entire closet), the whole class got me a dress on my birthday with one purpose, they said I MUST go to prom! And I am truly grateful to them and I'm also very touched. Unfortunately, the dress couldn't fit me (blame on myself T__T). So my mum got me another dress this time and I wore it to prom! (I really forgot about the dress pic here)

For prom, I really didn't do much. Having heard of other friends talking about how they were gonna set their hair, put on their make-up, I felt that I didn't do anything to myself at all! I didn't set my hair even though many of them encourage me to cos' my hair is so long. And my mum said I'd look better if my make-up looks natural. So in the end, I did what my mum said and the only thing I went to do was to get my eyebrow shaped (I did it before so I went again).

So, here's are the things I wore to prom and they're my mum's. She bought them not long ago for her concert.

And about the shoes, I didn't wanna buy a new heels because I was almost broke myself! Haha ~ So I decided to borrow from someone. Chiewnee lent me of course, a wedges. But before that, my mum said it didn't really suit my dress so she told me to stick to my own flats (it was also nice though). But my friends were like "Huiyi, don't wear flats ~ ~". Anyhow, the day I was leaving my house for prom, the zip of my flats broke off and I had no choice but to wear Chiewnee's wedges. True enough it was more comfortable than heels with the flat bottom but there was a problem... The wedges were a little too large for my size. (I knew the whole thing about prom preparation was a little too perfect. Nothing's ever perfect for me!) So the whole night wasn't perfect at all! I dared not to move a lot at prom because the wedges kept leaving my feet! However, I truly thanked Chiewnee for her wedges because I LOOKED TALLER THAN EVERYONE! HAHA ~

Although, this year's prom, for me, it wasn't that perfect because of the preparation, and of course because of other stuff as well, like 'zero-day'. Don't ask me what's 'zero-day' because I really don't wanna talk about it....

Anyway, prom was great. I had my experience dancing on the dance floor (though it was VERY awkward at first) and the best thing is, hanging out with friends especially friends who don't live in Malacca anymore like Jia Wen who studies in S'pore now ~ I really hope, this is not the last prom and there will be another one someday in the future. If there is, I will make sure everything will be perfect from A to Z this time (from dress, shoes, dance and everything!)....

This year's Christmas

Christmas is coming in less than a month. I remembered last two years we went to Singapore for Christmas and I took so many beautiful pictures while we were there but too bad my lappie broke down and all my pictures saved in it were gone once and for all ~ T__T Although I do not celebrate Christmas, I've always loved Christmas (it's not about the religion here because I'm a buddhist and have no intention at all to switch or what ~) I just love the Christmas atmosphere because the lights were so beautiful and most of all, the decorations are way too attractive. I love looking at the lights and all, they make me happy. And it's supposed to be cold in many countries because it's winter, and I like winter. And 25 has always been my favourite number.

Like I said, I do no celebrate Christmas but like myself, my mum loves the Christmas atmosphere as well. She said the lights and decorations and for me, CHOCOLATES made us happy! So that's why, since last three years ago, she started decorating a Christmas tree in our living room ~ Lol ~

Actually, I've also always wanted to go on a snow date with none other than my yoochun!! It's not that I'm creating an imaginary partner because I don't have one in real life, it's just, maybe I'm too prone to my fan fics so I really feel like going on a date with only yoochun! And seriously, if you've read any of my blog posts, you would know that I am CRAZY over him so...
"WILL YOU GO ON A SNOW DATE WITH ME, YOOCHUN??"

The day we went back to the zoo !

I know I haven't been able to update my blog lately because I'm seriously VERY BUSY! So, here I am today to share something with you guys quickly before I go back to my busy life again ~ But don't worry, my finals are coming soon and after next week, I'll be quite free again!

So here it is, we went to the zoo on Monday for some community service which was organized by the school, of course. At the beginning, we were like, "Zoo? At this age going to the zoo for school trip?!" But what we didn't know was, there were many of our friends who have not been to the zoo for ages! Unlike me, who went to the zoo several times already (if you've seen my previous posts).

After we were done with the community service, we were given time to tour around the zoo in groups. At first, we were together with the teacher but soon, we broke into our own groups because Ms. Tan walked super fast and we couldn't catch up with her because we were busy staring at the animals (small kids!). It was nice though. Taking pictures together and cracked jokes along the way ~

Here are some sneak peaks on what we did at the zoo, after breaking up with Ms. Tan 'accidentally' :

Community service before the tour ~
The three musketeers ~

Woon Ping (the last boy on the right) is actually a physics student from next class but he's a very close friend to the boys in out class so he joined us at the zoo! Notice that he is the only physics student among all the bio students here!

Woon Ping took this photo for us! And after seeing us being in a happy family photo,

.....he's lonely being the only physics student here, so......

.......he's depressed.......

.....real depressed.....

Haha!

My First Cover

I actually recorded this randomly after my best friend told me how much she missed my singing after going to college. So, it wasn't really a song cover at the beginning. Nevertheless, I'm posting this as the first song I've ever sang to the public! Hope you don't dislike this ^^ because I tried my best!

Ai Leen + Dayah's Surprise Birthdays Celeb !

Today we celebrated Dayah's belated birthday and Ai Leen's advance birthday! Well, honestly, I only knew about Dayah's surprise mini party but not Ai Leen's. They only told me about it today. They planned this, supposed our PA extra class was cancelled but Miss Tan is "calling" an extra class for only our class. So when Dayah actually it was an extra class, we surprise her by bringing out the cake and all and we did! Ms. Tan helped to set it all up too! Lol ~ After we sang the birthday song for Dayah, Janine and I started singing a second round for Ai Leen and she was so surprised when we sang her name instead of Dayah's... haha..

They bought this cake. I didnt know the cake was THAT expensive though ~ Luckily it was very delicious since it was so expensive ~

Happy Ai Leen got her present ^^

Happy Dayah got her present too ~ ~ ^^

Me and my sister Ai Leen ~ Did I mention we are foster sisters in school ? haha..

G.NA - Banana MV Teaser [HD]

My favourite girl, G.NA is back again!! She's the first ever female korean artist whom I fancy so
much! And she's pretty ~ ~ ~ I don't understand why my sister said she's not because I think she is. Not only that, I think she's funny too (remember the show she was on with Brian? Lol ~ that was good)...and sometimes, she's a bit blur case in variety show but no matter what, when and where I see her, I love her!!

A foster parent in school ??

Looking at the title, you may think what am I talking about? But as some of you may have known, we're having this programme which is quite common in some schools and some matriculation centers which is called the "1G 10M" programme. It is a programme where each teacher in the school would have to 'adopt' at least ten students. The purpose of the whole thing is of course, to help the students as much as they can if the students have any problem at all. So I have a foster parent in school. And he is my Maths teacher, Mr. Khoo. Not only that, I also have ten other siblings because Mr. Khoo 'adopted' 11 students. My class monitor, Mr. YB, my friend, Ai Leen and two other classmates, Bao Hui and Shuk Ting are my siblings. And I have another 5 siblings from the Delta Class whom I do not know yet. However, we, the foster family, have to meet up often. So, Mr. Khoo set up a day which is on every Tuesday, we will gather in the school library after school and......prepare Maths notes!! He said he'll guide us through the notes. In other words, we're still doing his homework on "family day" ~ ~

My New Pet!

Hey, hey! Check out my new pet, the-beetle!
Haha... Just kidding! Actually, my sister caught one beetle at home yesterday and so I thought we can preserve it. But then Lu Ee told me it was too small so we can't preserve the beetle. BUT, Aileen caught two beetles, one very big and another like mine, very small, in school today and gave it to Lu Ee. (Aileen's a Physic student but she helped us. What a wonderful friend she is!) Then Lu Ee told me to bring the beetles home today until we're free to perform the preservation process again! So I came home and I freed the two tiny beetles and kept the BIG ONE for our project. Now here's the BIG ONE. I'm keeping it as a pet until we have time to preserve it in school, soon...

Earlier in the morning, my sis gave the beetles a few leaves to play with. And the beetles curled up with the leaves for a very very long time. I wondered why. Then when we're home, she gave this beetle three little pieces of apples and it's practically attached to the fruit! She said the beetle sucks up the juice from the apple as their food.... and it's really sucking the apple!

BIO project - Insects Preservation !!

Today we did a Bio project in class where we preserve insects! Few weeks ago when we were told that we are going to perform this, my group members (not including me because I was scared of insects) went around like mad students with insects obsession to catch the insects. Ai Leen and Lu Ee, especially teamed up with next class, Yue Linn who is supposed to be a Physic student, spent their every evening catching dragonflies and butterflies around their neighbourhood, since three of them are also neighbours to each other. Unfortunately, all our insects died and decayed before the preservation was done. So, yesterday, we went to the back of the school, at the field to catch dragonflies and some other insects. And they (still not including me) caught a butterfly, a cricket, a cockroach, a bee (this one was caught accidentally because Ai Leen was actually aiming for the butterfly) and lastly, a wasp! Yes, we caught a wasp! This one was caught accidentally as well. They thought it was an ordinary bee instead of a dangerous wasp!

This is the wasp Ai Leen caught. The preservation was done in the afternoon so in the morning when we were having other lessons, this wasp was very aggressive and was trying to break free from the container. We didn't poke any holes on the lid so practically, there was no air at all in it. So basically, this wasp should suffocate in the container like the other cricket in it. But IT DIDN'T GIVE UP AT ALL until the very end when we killed it in the "killing jar" using chloroform.

And this is our butterfly, almost dying of suffocating, thanks to the insecticide spray in an enclosed container. This one was preserved very nicely by Janine and Ai Leen.

Okay, this was not ours! This belonged to Bernard's group where Suan Way screamed when he saw this! haha!

So this was the "killing jar" I was talking about. We put the insect into the jar, followed by the cotton ball soaked with chloroform. It'll die within 2 minutes.

So when it's dead, we inject formalin into the insect before we pin it onto the board. After we pinned it, we'll brushed its whole body with formalin so that it will not decay. And it'll stay nice forever.

Here is Janine and Ai Leen injecting the formalin into the cockroach.

This is done by our 'yang berhormat' Suan Way. He's afraid of gliding insects and animals such as snails and earthworms but he is NOT afraid of this BIG FLYING COCKROACH!!

This was Bernard's butterfly.

And Mei Yong's weird cockroach. This was not preserved because Mdm. Wee said it had no wings ~ ~ ~ haha ~

However, this is just the beginning. We have 25 insects to be preserved. That means, we have to catch more insects and preserve more insects as well. Not only that, we have to preserve some plants too. Today, we started with fern leaf as a trial. It's still in my bag ~ haha... Okay, I gotta go catch some insects now!

Crazily Busy

I'm so sorry that recently I haven't been able to update. I've been really busy with school assignments and homework that I was only able to online once every weekend previously. But fortunately, I was a little bit not busy today. Like I said, we were given tons of assignments lately even though homework was much lesser. Well, our assignments, we called it colloquium, are seriously a headache even though we are doing it in a group of 6 members! We started off with Maths Colloquium, given only twice a week to prepare it and after that two weeks, we were showered with another Chemistry Colloquium and yesterday, we had just received Biology Colloquium....T___T To make things worse, Ai Leen and I have not even started our Chemistry Colloquium. And every month we'll have a formative test! Only given 50 minutes for every subject including MUET! I panicked the other day when I was doing my Maths test and at the end, I failed the paper!! If it wasn't because of the Maths paper, I could have better percentage for the test. But I've got band 5 for MUET! That's a good start...actually, most of us got band 5 so it was kinda like a piece of cake. We haven't really seen the real picture yet. To get band 5 in the real MUET exam would be much harder actually ~

And other than formative test every month, we have topical test for Chemistry and PA as well! Last Friday was our first PA topical test. We were given 40 questions in 20 minutes!! In the 40 questions, if we get more than FOUR questions wrong, we were asked to look into the drain outside the class. And guess what, the entire class went out to be the "drain inspector"! LOL ~

Anyways, I have another topical test for Chemistry next week and another formative test two weeks later and two more assignments to go....wish me luck!

MHS Kem Perdana 2011

Last Friday we had an annual camp in our school for three days and two nights. That was the very first time I've ever camp in my life, especially in school! During orientation, they've told us about the annual camp they have every year for the lower six and form four students. When I heard about the news, I was very worried indeed! I really didn't wanna participate in the camp at all. They told us that the camp carried quite a lot of marks for our Koku points so if we don't take part, our marks would be very poor. And it was also compulsory and NO ONE can escape unless you have a very strong reason like maybe...medical problem. But I was so healthy that I have no choice but to go! Before the very day, I kept fretting about the camp! However, after going to the camp, I was so upset when it had to end!

Yes, I was enjoying the camp so much that I wished we have a second camp again! But some people like I used to be, will never understand the fun of camping so let me show you!

See this? Well, unfortunately, we didn't sleep in the tent outside. The boys did. We, girls all slept in the class....

Poor thing, everyone slept on mats and newspaper while I slept on the folded mattress I brought to the camp! LOL! (They didn't take the photo of my mattress though ~)

The second day of our camp, on Saturday, we woke up at 5 in the morning and had "larian 1 Malaysia" with all the students in the school. Including those who are not involved in the camp, they had to come back to school that day. After the larian, we had cooking competitions among the campers and our class did a malay dish. But the photo you're looking at here was not the competition. Some of us were cooking lunch for our class during the competition. Here, we made spaghetti under the HOT SUN!! (because on the 2nd day, lunch and dinner were not provided by the school so we had to cook them!) As you can see, only the girls were cooking. The boys ~ ~ some were sleeping in the tent while we were working here!

Then it was dinner time! Our class ordered fried rice from the canteen. I didn't expect it to be spicy though ~ ~

While we had fried rice, the other class was BBQ-ing!!! *Happy lor ~*

At night, we had the "Muzikarama" aka musical competition by the school and it was opened for public to come and watch. We, campers had to participate of course but non-campers were also allowed to take part but we were not categorized under the same category. Our class did "Seasons in the sun" with a surprise for Ms. Tan (our class teacher) because Mei Yong was supposed to leave for Inti after that but fortunately, she decided to stay put after the camp for form 6. And yeah....our class won 3rd yo! Alpha class was very good, better than us so they won 2nd place ~

CLASS PHOTO TIME !
* L6 SC BETA *

Nevertheless, camping was very fun and I would really wanna go again some other time....

PS: I didnt sleep well on the first night. I slept very well on the 2nd night. But I looked so dead when I got home on the 3rd day ~ ~
